It’s that time again: VAMPril! Specifically VAMPril 2: Double Suck! Once again we return to the world of bloodsuckers for another month! And there’s no better way to start than with NICK KNIGHT, a movie-length TV pilot starring Australian rock star Rick Springfield! And joining us is returning guest Dirk Marshall from the VH US podcast (https://www.vh-us.com/), who we knew would be equally impressed with the surprisingly good soundtrack! Detective Nick Knight is in trouble. Not just because some of his homeless pals are dying, but also because he needs to complete his mug set or be a vampire forever! He’ll get some help from a museum curator, who knows where to make the best copies in town, and from some key advice he gets once he meets up with his master! Rick Springfield plays a working class dog of a cop who is also a vampire(?).  It also stars John Kapelos who we mostly remember as Dino in Weird Science. We get deep into Rick in this episode, including what he is like live on stage! Ryan also bought his memoir, Late, Late at Night, and you should too, as long as you’re not looking for choice anecdotes about NICK KNIGHT!  There is a lot of eating and not as much sucking as you’d expect.
